Riding the wave of major sports events putting New Orleans back on the map as a top tier sports entertainment destination, CST needed a broadcast studio refresh to reflect it’s growing ratings and imprint on southeast sports coverage. The ask was to make the small studio space feel larger, and incorporate different desk configurations to maximize segment versatility.

I designed a set blending industrial and organic materials to invoke region-specific sports broadcast flair. The desk came in 3 parts that could be separated into 4 different desk configurations for 2 person anchor segments, 1 person journalism and color segments, and interview and panel segments. Backlit scenery and shelving and well embedded video surfaces added polish and reinforced CST’s developing brand.
