The inaugural season for NCAA Football's new playoff system needed Texas sized entertainment to draw on the fanfare and anticipation of the championship game. CFP/AT&T's mission was simple, to get the party started the weekend before the Monday game, giving attendees a chance to elevate their experience and allow them to create the marketing buzz for CFP. Solomon Group was ready to accomplish just that.
I designed a custom stage deck and plug layout that converged to 50' tall scenery, bringing the newly minted CFP football logo to life. AT&T's globe icon was the perfect cherry on top. Dazzling lighting and on-screen graphics brought the glitz, and a floating LED bracket put the purpose of the weekend front and center; to honor the two teams still standing after the post-season dust settled.
The event's success cemented Solomon Group's continuing involvement with CFP for years to come.
